We evokes the emotional power of artwork. It tells potential customers that your photographs will more than just document their lives; they will touch their hearts.
Born in 1970 in Talahini S/P Niansouan, the artist pursued his passion for art from a young age, often drawing on blackboards during his school years. His first sale, a guitar to his principal for MDL 100, affirmed his potential in pursuing art professionally. This potential was further encouraged by an inspector who purchased one of his paintings in 1978, motivating him to dedicate his life to art over continuing formal education.
After relocating to Grand-Bassam in 1990 to join his brother, he inherited a workshop from his late mentor, which catalyzed his career. He traveled extensively, showcasing his work across Denmark, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and Benin. Currently, he is in Lomé for an exhibition supported by the Ivorian Ambassador to Denmark, Mrs. Lixiane Marie-Laure Boa. His artwork primarily features oil, water, or pastel on canvas.
Over the years, he has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, gaining recognition and expanding his influence in the art world. Notably, his exhibitions have included venues across Europe and West Africa, and events such as the Zanzan Festival in Côte d'Ivoire and the Abidjan Art Festival. His recent activities involve a membership with BIUREDA, a legal rights bureau, and participation in the upcoming MIVA (Ivorian Handicraft Market) from October to December 2024 in Treichville.
He is part of the Association of Painters of Grand-Bassam and continuously seeks opportunities to share his work and the vibrant culture of Côte d'Ivoire with the world.
